About Dawn

Originally from Texas, Dawn has lived and worked in Northern California since 1999. She graduated with honors from the University of San Francisco with an MA Degree in Counseling Psychology, and from Baylor University with a BA in Social Work. Dawn is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (CA LMFT #104713) and is also a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).

Dawn has worked with children at McDowell Elementary School in Petaluma and at North Bay Christian Academy in Novato, where she counsels children with behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, affects from divorce and grief over loss of a parent. She also works with adults who are processing grief, illness and anxiety.

Dawn has been married to her husband Matt since 1997 and is the mother of four boys.

I have a passion for helping people find healing and wholeness in their personal lives and to help them develop healthy relationships. That passion has led to a variety of experiences including working with children and youth at a center for victims of sexual assault, working at a residential treatment program, and working with young people in a church youth group setting for over seven years.
