About Christina

Christina has been a resident of Marin County since 1995. Christina earned an MA in counseling Psychology from JFK University in Orinda, CA, and a BA in Business from San Francisco State University. She has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Marin County since 1994 and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).

Christina also serves as Supervisor for MFT interns placed within the Novato School District as school counselors, and conducts specialized clinical training seminars for parents, adolescents and fellow therapist in self-harm education/awareness. She also works with the Parent Project®, an organization which provides parents with education and support with their at-risk teens.

Christina has been married to her husband Kenneth since 1995, and they have twin adolescent girls.

Having served the people and community of Marin for over twenty years with a focus on teens and their families, I have had the privilege of helping many overcome great obstacles and learn how to thrive in life.

I specialize in working with at-risk teens who are engaging in self-harm, eating disorders, cutting, and substance abuse, and I incorporate the family into the healing process. Clinically, I work from a Self Psychology and Family Systems approach. My faith and values are the foundation of all my work, and I am dedicated to helping those who are unable to find their way on their own.
